Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung (2,700m/8,858ft):Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the northern border, passing through the lush landscapes of the Himalayas and the protected region of Langtang National Park. As you ascend, the greenery of Nepal gradually gives way to the rugged terrain of Tibet. After completing immigration formalities at the border, continue your drive to Kerung, a quiet Tibetan town nestled among mountains. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and rest. Overnight in Kerung.

Day 02: Acclimatization Day in Kerung: Today is reserved for acclimatization to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude. Take short walks around Kerung, explore local markets, and observe the simple yet vibrant Tibetan lifestyle. This gentle day is crucial for preparing your body for the higher elevations ahead. Overnight in Kerung.

Day 03: Drive from Kerung to Saga (4,640m/15,223ft): Begin your journey deeper into the Tibetan Plateau, crossing high mountain passes such as Thong La and La Lung La. The landscape opens into vast plains, dotted with grazing yaks and distant snow-capped peaks. You may even catch glimpses of Himalayan giants like Mount Shishapangma. After a scenic drive, arrive in Saga, a key transit town. Overnight in Saga.

Day 04: Drive from Saga to Lake Mansarovar (4,590m/15,059ft):Today’s drive takes you to one of the most sacred destinations in Asia—Lake Mansarovar. Day 05: Mansarovar Puja & Drive to Darchen (4,670m/15,321ft):Begin your morning with a holy ritual (puja) at Lake Mansarovar, believed to cleanse sins and purify the soul. After this spiritual experience, drive to Darchen, the base camp for the sacred Mount Kailash Kora. Spend the evening preparing physically and mentally for the trek ahead. Overnight in Darchen.

Day 06: Kailash Kora Day 1 – Darchen to Dirapuk (5,210m/17,093ft): Drive a short distance to Yamdwar, the symbolic gateway to the spiritual realm. From here, begin your trek around Mount Kailash. The trail follows a beautiful valley with stunning views of the north face of Kailash. Reach Dirapuk and, if possible, perform Charan Sparsh (touching the sacred feet of Kailash), believed to bring divine blessings. Overnight in Dirapuk.

Day 07: Kailash Kora Day 2 – Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk via Drolma La Pass (5,634m/18,484ft): This is the most challenging and spiritually significant day of the journey. Day 08: Complete Kora & Drive to Saga: Complete the final stretch of the Kailash Kora, returning to Darchen.
