All foreigners require a visa for entry into Nepal (except Indian nationals). It is your responsibility to obtain the entry visa.

Visas can be obtained from a Nepalese embassy before travel or on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and border crossings.

Visa fees must be paid in cash (major currencies accepted, not traveller’s cheques). Passport photos are required at entry points.
