Overview

 About Trip

The 24-day Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek is the ultimate long-distance Himalayan trek that incorporates two of Nepal's most famous trekking routes into one lifetime experience. The trek is perfect for anyone looking for a mix of raw wilderness, deep cultural experience, and high-altitude thrill—all in one itinerary.

Beginning from the village of Soti Khola, the trek winds through the midst of the remote Manaslu region, twisting around riverside settlements like Machha Khola, Jagat, Deng, and Samagaon. You'll witness the rhythm of daily mountain life as you're enveloped by breathtaking vistas of Manaslu (8,163m) and neighboring mountains. Sri Buddhist monasteries, prayer wheels, and stone mani walls border your path as you hike through the culturally Tibetan-influenced Nubri Valley.

Having surmounted Larke La Pass (5,160m)—one of Nepal's most stunning and exciting high-altitude passes—the trek joins up with the Annapurna Circuit classic. From Dharapani, the trek continues to the breathtaking highlands of Manang, the fabled Thorong La Pass (5,416m), and the pilgrim town of Muktinath, prior to dropping down into the Jomsom valley, a region of perpetual winds.

Along the way, you’ll walk through subtropical forests, deep gorges, yak pastures, alpine plateaus, and high mountain deserts. You’ll also explore a range of ethnic communities, including Tibetan-influenced Buddhists, Gurungs, Magars, and Thakalis, experiencing their distinct architecture, language, customs, and hospitality. This route also traverses two of Nepal’s largest protected areas—Manaslu Conservation Area and Annapurna Conservation Area—making it a haven for nature and wildlife lovers.

This trek is a true journey of contrasts: serene Buddhist monasteries and bustling Hindu temples, barren white peaks and lush green hills, tranquil valleys and windy passes. It's designed for individuals with a strong heart, sound fitness, and hunger to view the best of Nepal in a single stroke.
