SHORT ITINERARY

  • Day 01: Drive from kathmandu  to Pokhara (830m/2,723ft), Driving Distance: 200km, Duration- 5 to 6 hours.

  • Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul /Syauli Bazaar / Kimche (1,784m) 2½  and Trek to Ghandruk (2,010m/6,595ft), Duration- 2 hours. 

  • Day 03: Trek from Ghandruk to Bayeli Kharka (3,492m/ 11,457ft), Walking Distance: 7.5km, Duration- 6 to 7 hours.

  • Day 04: Trek from Bayeli Kharka to Khopra Danda (Ridge) (3,660m/12,008ft), Walkinjg Distance: 5 to 6km, Duration- 6.5 hours.

  • Day 05: Trek from Khopra Danda (Ridge) to Swanta (2,270m/7,448ft), walking Distance: 9.6km, Duration- 5 to 6 hours.

  • Day 06:Trek from Swanta to Ghorepani (2,874m/9,429ft), walking Distance: 15km, Duration- 5 to 6 hours.

  • Day 07: Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,532ft) then trek to Birethanti (1,039m/3,409ft),  4 to 5 hours walk, and Drive to Pokhara(830m/2,723ft) 2 hours drive.

  • Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu(1,300m/4,265ft) from Pokhara, Driving Distance: 200km, Duration- 5 to 6 hours.

DETAIL ITINERARY

  • Day 01:  Drive from kathmandu  to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft), 5-6 hrs drive. Early morning drive by tourist bus to Pokhara through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to reach the Pokhara lakeside and transfer to the hotel and rest of the time explore the surrounding lakeside areas and overnight at hotel.
     
  • Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul /Syauli Bazaar / Kimche (1,784m) 2½,Trek to Ghandruk (1940m / 6,364ft), 2 hrs. The following morning after breakfast in Pokhara,  we drive to Nayapul, and drive off-road to Syauli Bazar and then to Kimche.
    From Kimche, we start trekking to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk is renowned for Buddhist monasteries and houses made of slates and stones. This day's trek is short, and we will be spending the night at Ghandruk.
    Overnight stay at Gurung Cottage (room with attached bathroom)

  • Day 03: Trek from Ghandruk (1940m / 6,364ft ) to Bayeli Kharka (3,450m / 11,318ft), 6-7 hrs. We leave the terraced hillsides and Ghandruk village behind and trek through rhododendron, primula, and oak forests to Bayeli Kharka via Tadapani. Before reaching Tadapani, you will not find any villages, but there are teahouses at Bhainsi Kharka. 
    We will continue trekking through the open countryside to reach a small pass. From this pass, the trail descends through rhododendron trees to a clearing known as Bayli Kharka- where we will be spending the night. From Bayli Kharka village, you can enjoy superb views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), the seventh highest mountain in the world.
    Overnight stay at Community Lodge

  • Day 04: Trek from Bayli Kharka (3,450m/ 11,318ft) to Khopra Danda (Ridge) (3,660m / 11,811ft), 5 hrs. Overnight stay at Khopra Community LodgeFrom Bayli Kharka, we descend through forests to reach Chistibang pastures and trek for around 2 hours- ascending above the timberlines to reach Khopra Danda. On the way, you might be able to get glimpses of Himalayan Tahr (goat) and Danfe (pheasant). If you look above the horizon, you will see amazing views of DhaulagiriDamphus PeakTukuche PeakNilgiriAnnapurna 1Annapurna South, and deep down Sikha. The Khopra ridge also provides views of Kaligandaki Gorge - the deepest gorge in the world.

  • Day 05:Trek from Khopra Danda (Ridge) (3,660m / 11,811ft) to Swanta (2,214m / 7,874ft), 4-5 hrs. Overnight stay at Hotel Candle InnFrom Khopra Ridge, we have the option to walk to Khayar Lake (4665m), which will take around 5 hours. Hindus consider this lake holy and believe that you can attain Nirvana by taking a dip into it. After visiting the lake we will return to Khopra and trek down to reach Swanta village. Swanta village is known for its community cheese factory. You can explore Swanta village and taste their cheese.

  • Day 06:Trek from Swanta (2,214m / 7,874ft) to Ghorepani (2,880m / 9,350ft), 5hrs. This day we will leave the beautiful village of Swanta and head to Ghorepani - our destination for the day. At first, we will descend through the village fields and reach a small river that we will cross on a suspension bridge and head upwards to Chittre village, from where we will join the classic Annapurna Circuit trekking trail. We will be ascending for a while to reach the Ghorepani. Overnight stay at Hotel Snow Land (room with attached bathroom)

  • Day 07: Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m / 10,525ft) then trek to Birethanti (1,039m / 3,250ft) 4-5 hrs, -Drive to Pokhara(750m) 2 hrs.
    We ascend to Poon Hill (3,210m) early morning to view sunrise over the  Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs - including Mt Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Poon Hill is also a favorite spot for photographers looking to capture the best views of the Himalayas. We will not leave Poon Hill without clicking pictures to our heart's content.
    After catching sight of heavenly sunrise views on humongous mountains, and rice terraces, we will return to Ghorepani and trek to Birethanti. From Birethanti, we will catch a bus to return to Pokhara via Nayapul. 
    Overnight stay in hotel with attached bathroom.

  • Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft), 5-6 hrs drive. Early morning drive by private transfer through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to reach the Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the time relax or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel.
