After breakfast, we begin our scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, one of Nepal's most popular tourist destinations and the gateway to the Annapurna region. The journey follows the highway through beautiful hills, terraced farmland, traditional villages, rivers, and countryside landscapes. Along the way, we make suitable stops for refreshments and lunch while enjoying the changing scenery. As we approach Pokhara, the landscape becomes increasingly beautiful, with spectacular Himalayan views visible on clear days. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we check into our accommodation and have time to relax or explore the lively Lakeside area. The night will be spent at a hotel in Pokhara.

The drive takes approximately one and a half hours and passes through scenic countryside, terraced farmland, small settlements, and beautiful views of the surrounding hills. From Nayapul, we begin our trek towards Tikhedhunga. The trail gradually follows the Modi Khola and passes through traditional villages, forests, and agricultural landscapes. We continue walking through the peaceful foothills of the Annapurna region before reaching Tikhedhunga. After checking into our tea house, we have time to rest and enjoy the surroundings. The night will be spent at a tea house in Tikhedhunga.

  • Day 05: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,874m/9,429ft), Walking Distance: 12.9km, 6–7 hours. After breakfast, we begin one of the more challenging sections of the trek as we climb from Tikhedhunga towards Ghorepani. The trail ascends through beautiful forests and traditional villages, including the famous stone steps of the Ulleri section. As we gain elevation, the scenery becomes increasingly spectacular, with views of the surrounding hills and Himalayan peaks. The trail continues through rhododendron and oak forests, which are especially beautiful during the flowering season. After approximately 12.9 kilometers of trekking, we reach Ghorepani, a popular mountain settlement located along the Annapurna trekking route. We settle into our tea house and prepare for the early morning Poon Hill hike. The night will be spent at a tea house in Ghorepani.

From the viewpoint at approximately 3,210 meters, we can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The sunrise over the Himalayas is a major highlight of the journey, with the surrounding peaks gradually illuminated by the morning light. After spending time at Poon Hill, we return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue our trek towards Tadapani. The trail passes through beautiful rhododendron forests, mountain ridges, and scenic landscapes. After approximately 10.7 kilometers of walking, we reach Tadapani, where we settle into our tea house and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings. The night will be spent at a tea house in Tadapani.
