It is an adventure in the Annapurna region of Nepal that involves climbing Pisang Peak, Chulu Peak, and Thorong La Pass which is viewed as challenging treks. These peaks are known for their Practical climbing, stunning views, and beautiful landscapes. 

Information’s about Pisang Peak:

Pisang Peak is the most famous trekking peak among all of the trekking peaks in the Annapurna Region of Nepal. The altitude of this peak is about 6091m above the sea level. It is on the way of the highest pass in the world which is the Thorang La pass. The climb of this peak allows one to have an astounding view of the Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III and Annapurna IV. One is able to view Gangapurna and Manaslu from there too. Not only is it known for the Yak pastures but also recognized for its diverse landscapes, flora and fauna throughout the trail.

Information’s about Chulu Peak:

The Chulu Peak which stands at the altitude of 6491m is considered as one of the best peaks in the Annapurna Region and is also a dream venture for a lot of climbers / trekkers. It is part of the Annapurna massif and lies to the north of the Annapurna Circuit. Although not as difficult as some of the other peaks in the region, it still presents challenges, especially due to its altitude and glacial conditions. Trekkers usually spend several days in places like Manang to acclimatize to the higher elevations before beginning the ascent.

Information’s about Thorang Peak:

Thorang Peak is one of the astounding peak in the Annapurna Region which is elevated at the height of 5416m and is located at the Damodar Himal. The Thorang peak is not technically challenging but can be physically tiring, during which you will also climb a Glacier. This peak also offers a scenic view of the neighboring peaks, which includes Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and other Himalayan Ranges. The circuit starts in Besisahar and follows a path around the Annapurna massif, eventually crossing the Thorang La Pass.

Itinerary

*Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m / 4,265 ft).
  • Transfer to your hotel.
  • Pre-trek briefing and rest. You may also explore the sights of Kathmandu (e.g., Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, or Thamel).

Day 2: Drive to Bhulbhule or Besishahar

  • Drive to Bhulbhule (6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu).
  • Start the Annapurna Circuit trek, passing through lush forests and local villages.
  • Overnight stay in Bhulbhule (840m / 2,755 ft).

Day 3: Trek to Ngadi

  • Trek to Ngadi (1,070m / 3,510 ft), around 5-6 hours.
  • Stay overnight in a teahouse.

Day 4: Trek to Jagat

  • Trek to Jagat (1,300m / 4,265 ft), 4-5 hours.
  • You’ll pass through rice fields and beautiful villages.
  • Stay overnight at a teahouse.

Day 5: Trek to Dharapani

  • Trek to Dharapani (1,960m / 6,430 ft), 5-6 hours.
  • Cross suspension bridges and scenic views of the surrounding mountains.
  • Overnight in Dharapani.

Day 6: Trek to Chame

  • Trek to Chame (2,710m / 8,891 ft), about 5 hours.
  • Enjoy views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II.
  • Overnight stay at Chame.

Day 7: Trek to Pisang

  • Trek to Pisang (3,185m / 10,453 ft), 4-5 hours.
  • You’ll pass through pine forests with great views of the surrounding peaks.
  • Overnight in Pisang.

Day 8: Trek to Manang

  • Trek to Manang (3,540m / 11,300 ft), 5-6 hours.
  • Manang is a beautiful village with stunning views of Annapurna II, III, and Gangapurna.
  • Stay overnight in Manang.

Day 9: Acclimatization Day in Manang

  • Acclimatization is key before continuing the trek to higher altitudes.
  • Option to hike to Gangapurna Lake or visit Khangsar Village.
  • Stay another night in Manang.

Day 10: Trek to Chulu East Base Camp

  • Trek to Chulu East Base Camp (4,800m / 15,748 ft), around 5-6 hours.
  • You will now be in the high-altitude zone.
  • Overnight camping or stay in basic teahouse accommodations.

Day 11: Summit Chulu East Peak (6,584m / 21,600 ft)

  • Early morning ascent of Chulu East Peak.
  • The climb is technical and requires a certified guide and climbing gear.
  • Return to Manang for overnight stay.

Day 12: Trek to Thorong Phedi

  • Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,450m / 14,599 ft), about 4-5 hours.
  • Prepare for the next day's challenging pass crossing.
  • Stay overnight in Thorong Phedi.

Day 13: Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m / 17,769 ft)

  • Early morning ascent of Thorong La Pass.
  • After crossing the pass, descend to Muktinath (3,800m / 12,467 ft), known for its religious significance and spectacular views.
  • Stay overnight in Muktinath.

Day 14: Trek to Jomsom

  • Trek to Jomsom (2,710m / 8,891 ft), about 5-6 hours.
  • Enjoy the scenic walk along the Kali Gandaki River and the views of the Dhaulagiri Range.
  • Overnight in Jomsom.

Day 15: Flight or Drive back to Pokhara

  • Morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (or drive).
  • Relax in Pokhara and enjoy the views of Phewa Lake and the surrounding mountains.

Day 16: Drive or Flight to Kathmandu

  • Drive back to Kathmandu (6-7 hours by bus) or take a flight.
  • Free day for last-minute shopping or exploring the city.
  • Farewell dinner in Kathmandu.

Day 17: Departure

  • Transfer to the airport for your flight back home or onward travels.
