Annapurna I (8,091 meters), Nilgiri (7,061 meters), and Machhapuchchhre are among the Annapurnas' peaks (6,993 m). Dhaulagiri I (8,167 m) is to the west of the Annapurnas, and on clear days, the majority of these peaks can be seen from all throughout the region.

While Trekking in Annapurna region, visitors covers lot of the part of Annapurna conservation Area.

The Annapurna Circuit Trek, which encircle the Annapurna Range, the Kaligandaki River Valley Trek, which takes you up the world's deepest valley, and the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, which takes you up to the Annapurna Base Camp, are all popular treks in the area. Shorter hikes can be found on a number of other trails. The Trans-Himalayan territories north of the major Himalayan Ranges, where the environment is desert and the culture is Tibetan rather than Hindu, make up this region.

Travelers are familiar with the Annapurna region, yet it is not an administrative region. Gandaki and Dhaulagiri are the two zones that make up the area. Baglung, Kaski, Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, and Myagdi are the districts that make up the Annapurna region.

Mustang is the official name of the district in Nepal's western area, which has a Tibet-like region. Upper Mustang and Lower Mustang are the two components of this Mustang. Upper Mustang is predominantly populated by Manangi people and extends all the way to Lo Manthang, the old capital. Lower Mustang, on the other hand, encompasses the lower valley along the Kali Gandaki river. Mustang is Nepal's only district with its own monarch. The people of Mustang are known as Lobas. "Mustang" is a Tibetan forgotten valley that is a Nepalese hidden treasure. Mustang, a wide expanse of rock and a big wilderness, has been open to organized groups only since 1992. Mustang provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel through an area steeped in legend and old history. A nearly treeless, desolate environment with a topography that resembles the Tibetan plateau. Lower Mustang has large, red fluted cliffs, whereas higher Mustang has a limitless stretch of yellow and gray rolling hills eroded by the wind, which is common in this region. The journey leads to the walled village of Lo-Manthang, a visually stunning location that is home to the current Mustang King and boasts numerous gorgeous temples and Gompa.
note. Before attempting to cross any high passes, check the weather conditions locally or with your guide/porter. (mostly in  the winter)
