However, you will not only be gasping for air, but also gasping in awe as this section of the journey rewards you with magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains from Throng La and superb technical downhill on the other side that will have you grinning from ear to ear, or if you're a little nervous, possibly browning your trousers! You will, however, be greeted with a warm welcome and rest in Muktinath.

(2590m) via Lupra Valley route 32 kilometeres. Leaving Muktinath behind, we traverse the hillside along a small, little-used trekking trail, with a small section of push as we reach Dhangladanda, which offers spectacular views of the Himalaya. This can be a difficult ride in the wind, but stop and enjoy the scenery along the way. Tukuche, a lovely old riverside village, is reached by the trail. Spend some time exploring the cobbled lanes and learning about the Thakali culture around village. We spend the night in the well-equipped German Bakery. Apple Brandy is a local product that works well as a nightcap to unwind your mind and body after a long day of riding. Overnight stay at a hotel.
